But getting warmer by the day.
I'm happily browsing this here 'internets,' finding lots of patterns for baby things, cute dolls and recipes (try this molasses cookie recipe; it's just about perfect and goes along nicely with the aforementioned hot cocoa!) I'll include links at the end of this post, for anyone who is interested in the goodies I have found.
I've also been enjoying some great music that I received for Christmas, along with a book by Nancy Wilson that I highly recommend for women in any season of life. (it's a compilation of some essays she has written for Credenda Agenda Magazine over time and each one is a quick, encouraging read...more cocoa, anyone?)

I'm feeling grateful for the Lord's protection over his own. A blogger that I regularly keep tabs on has expereinced his grace supremely this past week. It's a small world, afterall...
For those of you interested in patterns and projects that I've come across, here goes:How to make a nursing cover. by Little Birdie Secrets
DIY Baby legs... for babies and toddlers :very cute, but more for babies of the girl-variety, so I won't be pursuing for this particular Smith-child.
Dolls:
Amy Butler Cozy Kitty (scroll down to the bottom right of the page, for a whole list of free patterns from Amy Butler...you'll see a picture of the cozy kitty there) the actual pattern is here.
